Entering its ninth year of operation, PCA is a school fully committed to the classical Orthodox tenets of child education and rearing. All positions are for the 2020 – 2021 school year:

Full-time multidisciplinary, multi-stages teacher

We are currently looking to expand our team with a full-time multidisciplinary, multi-stages teacher. Preferred applicants will be Christ-centered individuals with prior experience teaching multiple classroom subjects to students of all ages.  While knowledge of classical teaching methods is preferred, we will also welcome as applicants scholars and life-long lovers and pursuers of knowledge and wisdom. Candidates must be detail-oriented; they should aim towards mastery of  some of the following subjects: music (preschool through Grammar) and English Language Arts (including grammar, literature, spelling, poetry, and composition), as well as math, Latin, and Spanish for Logic and Rhetoric Stages. In addition, they should have strong classroom management skills and be very well organized. Full-time multidisciplinary teacher assistant

We are currently looking to expand our team with a full-time multidisciplinary, multi-stages teacher assistant (grammar stage and lower). Preferred applicants will be Christ-centered individuals with prior experience assisting teaching multiple classroom subjects to elementary school students. While having knowledge of classical teaching methods is preferred, we will also welcome as applicants scholars and life-long lovers and pursuers of knowledge and wisdom with less familiarity of the classical education methods. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills, be able to multitask, have very good academic competence in reading and math and strong classroom management skills, and work well under direct supervision. Aftercare Teacher

We are currently looking to expand our team with a part-time aftercare teacher. Preferred applicants will be Christ-centered individuals with prior experience teaching and supervising elementary school students in an aftercare setting. While having knowledge of classical teaching methods is preferred, we will also welcome as applicants scholars and life-long lovers and pursuers of knowledge and wisdom with less familiarity of the classical education methods. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills, be able to multitask, have good academic competence in reading and math and strong classroom management skills, and work well independently.
